Training your eye by reviewing other people's work helps you improve your own writing even before you present it for others to see. Therefore, we ask members to review other people's writing before posting work of their own. The Review Room forums on this site, therefore, are true workshops, not just a bulletin board for displaying your work (and on that note, please only post each item for review in one Review Room forum). Thanks Oasis and Blooming. Cogito, thanks for the guidance. I will make sure I review other's work. (Actually, I did that quite a bit. I used to train people in writing skills. So I looked at work of may be 200+ people. Second, I used to review resumes. That also helped me get a good grasp of different writing skills.) I will be happy to review others work. I will soon go through the links you mentioned. That will be a good way to contribute to this forum as well as its members.
