Hi everyone. My name is Avin. And I am really glad to be here. I am not a writer. But I love to write and I like to write short stories. I already wrote a lot of them and shared mostly with friends and family. Recently I decided to take a writing course to learn how to be a good writer. Also since I live in Australia I decided to start writing in English. By the way English is not my first language and I just learned it a few years ago. So it will be a big change learning how to write good stories and also switching into English. I found this forum a few days ago and joined quickly. I still need to find my way around here

Hi Avin! I'd say if you love to write and you like to write short stories then you ARE a writer - so you'll fit right in! Word of warning - a lot of us are novelists and I think we sometimes default to assuming everyone is writing a novel. You may sometimes need to remind us that there are other forms of creative writing...
