I am a 21-year-old, just recently moved to Toronto, Canada from a small town further north. I am not yet in school. I work as an overnight stocker at a grocery store. My writing is directed towards non-fiction (usually creative), poetry, and scripts. I am currently writing a web series in sitcom format about life in Toronto and making it in the city. Forgive the Freud avatar. I saw his picture somewhere while creating my profile and it caught my eye. I'm hoping to connect with other writers since I don't really know anyone in the city yet (yes, I know that this is not a Toronto-based website). I was previously on the Writers Digest forums as Ozymandius if anyone recognizes that username. See you around!
We welcome you to the forum, Michael. Please have a look through the Forum Rules, and the FAQ as a start. I hope Toronto turns out to be a great experience for you. Have fun!
Welcome, Michael I know nothing of Toronto, really, but I'm sure you'll find plenty of things to interest you here!
Hi, Michael! Welcome! I grew up in and around Toronto, so I'm pretty familiar with your current stomping grounds. Please take Wreybies' advice and read the site rules, especially if you want to post any of your own work for critique. Have fun here, and have more fun in Toronto. As cities go, it's pretty good.
Hello, Michael. You seem to be a very objective but kind person, the fact that you know what you are doing by naming your style and works gives me a reliable impression of your person. Maybe we get to talk again someday. See ya!
@Mathieu: Thanks for the kind words. See you around the forums! @Elen: Same to you. Hope we get to exchange critiques sometime.
@Michael Timothy welcome! Whilst I mostly hang around the RP area, I do check in now and then to do some critiques. I am also considering to join this year's writing contest. May the pen be with you!
Please message me if you have posted anything! I would really like to read what you may have written. Cool avatar, by the way; I came across mine while researching, and it was just too cute not to have!
@Macaberz: I've seen a few of your posts around the RP forum already. I've been thinking of participating myself. Thanks for the welcome.
Well, seeing how they didn't scare you away, I will take that as a compliment of sorts We're quite a tight-knit friendly bunch over there, feel free to join or ask questions or whatever.
