Hello, My name is Todd. I'm 48, married & have four kids. Many moons ago (mostly when I was in school back in the dinosaur days) I used to write poetry (all sorts) and short fiction (mostly fantasy and/or science fiction), but then I joined the Navy. I spent twenty years traveling the world then retired in 2005. During that time I pretty much stopped writing. Since then I've held a variety of jobs and lived in several states, still without writing. Now, I want to change that. I think I'm going to try to start back up and "see if I still got it".
Hey Todd! Glad to hear you want to try it again. I've taken a break myself for years too til recently. We need more poets on site. It's not my focus, but I'd like to see more discussions about it.
