I've been a member of a few other writing forums, but always had a tendency to lurk. For the past three years or so, I've spent a lot of time attempting to write a novel. I've learned a lot, but the biggest lesson I've learned in the process is that I really don't know how to write as well as I would like to. So I decided to break my novel up into short stories and use it as practice. I will eventually attempt to write a novel in the future, but for now I think it's best for me to connect with other writers, continue to learn how to write effectively, and gain some insight and advice. I look forward to being a (hopefully) constructive member of this community. Cheers!
Welcome to the Forum. Sounds interesting to break up a novel into a collection of shorts that all intertwine. Good Luck and have fun.
