Hi everyone, Well this is my first post of what I sincerely hope will be many more to come. Despite my passion for writing, I've never been a member of a forum dedicated to doing so, and i'm hoping that I can make some friends here in this online community. I'm not sure what to really say to introduce myself as i'm generally quite a shy person. I've noticed from reading through existing posts that there's a wide range of people on here and I hope to fit in despite my young age (of just 16... please don't hold it against me). My interest of writing started at a very young age, and I remember filling pages upon pages of exercise books with short series' and short stories until eventually i've matured and started writing novels. I enjoy writing supernatural fiction although i'm willing to give anything a try and I like to challenge myself. Additionally, I "try" and write poetry when I have the time although I must confess that this isn't particularly a strong point and my poems tend to be too literal and not very interesting either... I haven't really said alot about me so i'm sixteen and i'm from Nottinghamshire in England. I'm a student in sixth form studying History, French, Spanish and ICT and in the near future I hope to go to university to study Modern European Studies...Writing for me is more of a stress-relieving hobby than a career choice. Anyways, I'm going to go away now and read some more posts on this forum and I hope to get active and hear from people soon

Welcome to the site! As said, the vast majority of time, age isn't an issue here. (heck, I'm the site owner/admin and I'm sixteen!) So anyway, welcome to our writing forums. I suspect you'll fit in nicely.
