Hey there. I just joined these fine forums. I've just discovered, only recently (within a year or so), that I have a serious love for reading fine novels. I can't believe I wasted so many years starring at that imagination killing death box, which I commonly refer to as TV. The more I read, the more I love it. I always take away something meaningful from different stories, genres, and authors. I used to have the most imaginative little brain as a kid, I could play with a bunch of clay for hours, building cities, worlds, people, stories, lands, entire lives, all under the control of my imagination. That's why I feel more excited than I have ever in my entire life(all 21 years of it). If I could reopen that ability for a wild imagination, and instead of clay, incorporate something much much much much more complex into that imaginary mind frame, I could really have a direction in life. Of course, writing! how could I never see it before? Oh yeah, I didn't read, and watched tv all day, boooooo! I'm gonna methodically train myself to be a better reader, and then, through much practice, try to find my own writing style and dip my pen in the ink and delve into this imaginary place.
