how can anyone really say what will be best, when we don't know when and where this story is set, or anything about this girl's background, social level, ethnic origin, et al.?
Alex, were you named by committee? You brought the character into the world. You should name her, and preferably before she is fully grown. Real people don't "look like" their names. That's only in the mind of the person looking at her, and relating to characteristics of other people in the observer's experience.
What is someone is a clown and there name is also Clown? Wouldn't they resemble a clown? And if Clown is their name, would they not resemble their name also?
