In my sceenplay there's a character that I can't seem to come up with the perfect name for him. The name should be kind of oldish fashion sounding like... William or John. The story is set in the future, but the time in which this character exist in the the past, in another life and in the future (present in the story). About the Character: Past To be named Age: 27 Occupation: Priest Personality nearly the same as his present personality Present Name: Anton Forrester Age: 27 Occupation: Music + Maths Teacher Evil/Good/Neutral - Between Neutral and Evil Personality: Secretive – Organised – Intelligent – Friendly - Very Optimistic – Nice – Sadist – Distant – Reserved – Emotionless - Artistic
Plot and other Info: What do you think of my Plot? - Writing Forums I forgot to mention, Anton is also the Fantom is his undead form.
Frederick Abbot Same initials as his present name, but reversed. Frederick is a good classic name, while Abbot is also a good classic name, and it also subltely reveals his preistly roots. Hope I helped!
I always have liked Aaron and Fernandez, as well as Timothy and Andrews. You may arrange them as you like anyways. And the best first name ever is Ezekiel - it sounds so illustrative.
Jonas Woodruff Old fashioned biblical first name, surname suggests the connection to Forrester without being too heavy-handed about it.
I think that you shouldn't think too hard about the perfect name for a character. parents don't know what type of person their child will turn into, so don't try finding a name with the perfect or anti meaning of your characters personality. How about Cormac?
