I'm glad to be here, surrounded by fellow writers. Hi, I'm Stephanie. Right now I am working on finishing the first draft of a novel that I started four years ago. It's been incredibly emotional writing it, as I started writing it to help me cope with my stepmom's diagnosis of early onset Alzheimer's Disease. It's been emotional and therapeutic at the same time Now that I am almost done, I am getting excited and motivated to finish it and get to the editing stage. Since my writing buddy moved away, it's been difficult to find someone else to write with, so I figured these boards would be a good place to find a little more motivation to write every day. I've been writing since I was fifteen (am 27 now).
