The point of fishing is not to catch fish. The point of fishing is to relax quietly in a peaceful environment.
pssst I am the parent. bahaha Cogito "fishing poll (pole)" was that intentional? anyways I actually went fishing today and it was great. Will post a picture tomorrow.
Of course it was intentional! I cannot restrain myself from making bad puns. Psst - I'm a parent too, so I'm used to such remarks. Sometimes it's just cooler to say "No", and let the "it's not fair!"s fall where they may. Remember, your revenge comes when THEY become parents faced with the same demands! As for the fishing pics, no using Photoshop to make the fish look bigger!
hahaha I always had kewl parents. They let me drink and were kewl about it. As long as I told them about it they were happy. And have fun pyroxx. Chat when ya get back I guess!!!
So how big was the fish?I bet it was [______________________________________] this big??? . Hope you had fun!
Actually, my mother and grandparents had a pretty liberal view of drinking as well. My grandfather let me have my first beer (about half a juice glass) when I was three. We'd occasionally have a small amount of wine with dinner. When I reached my teens, an occasional beer or Manhattan with the family was ok, as were a cupole drinks at gatherings of the larger family. But drinking without the adults around, or making it available to friends my age, was verboten. That's also the approach I've taken with my kids.
Ya so I caught one other fish but when I flung my rod back to set the hook the fish flew out of the water and off my hook right into the bush, never to be seen again. This one was lucky because I put him back. lol. http://i176.photobucket.com/albums/w195/Lexiconashley/Picture188.jpg
