Hi My name's Larissa, and I'm an artist, self-employed. I like to make plushies, drawings, and write books. I have two short stories published, and now I'm working on a novel. Well, not exactly a novel, it's an illustrated movie script. And why a dark elf? Because the elves are the main chars of my new book, a mix of fantasy and sci-fi (My native language is Portuguese, so you'll find some mistakes in my texts in English)
Thanxs, people I'm selling them in Brazil for now, but I sell the patterns on Etsy (and maybe I put the finished pieces to sell there too). I have some photos of them in my DeviantArt: http://dragaodepapel.deviantart.com/
And, I want to say that this forum is amazing! Why I don't found it before? I have a lot of questions, and I'm reading the topics to find the answers. Some I found I was attended a writers' workshop for over 10 years in my city, and other online workshops for a long time (all of them for brazilian authors), and the only thing that I have learned is that my writing isn't poetic and is too much "american". Yes, I never understood what make a writing "american". For me sci-fi and fantasy (my favorite genres) are what they are, no matter the nationality of the author.
Welcome to the forum. Please have a look through the Forum Rules, and the FAQ as a start. Have fun! Wrey
Illustrated movie script? I've never heard of that before. Is it a movie script with storyboard? Or a graphic novel?
I started it with the same structure of a script, with a drawing in each page, like a storyboard. But now I changed it, it's now a novel with illustrations. I tried to make a graphic novel, but I'm not a good artist for it Thaks, @Wreybies (I've readed the rules)
I tried it. No money, no deal. I can draw, but a graphic novel is too much for me. I will make this book only for pleasure, nothing more. Maybe I put some samples of the drawings / design of the pages when I have more posts here (and make critiques)
