Hi everybody my name is Josh.

Discussion in 'New Member Introductions' started by Ru3n, Aug 28, 2017.

    Hello fellow members of writingforums.org,

I have recently set out to write a story that I have had for years. I have been writing on my own, well my whole life. I have never tried working with others while writing something, so this will be a new experience for me. I chose to join a writing community because my horoscope suggested it actually. I'm not really one to read to much into that stuff, but I had just sat down to write when I decided to read my horoscope first. "When things seem to stack up, look to the aid of others for supportive and constructive feedback" the just tells me to join a forum, or workshop.

So enough with all that, and on to what I'm currently working on.

The story is called (at the moment) Cataclysm: Karanova. The title may change but the name Karanova, is the name of a planet far away from Earth. The story follows the protagonist named Orlok as he tries to survive a massive Cataclysm that takes place on his planet. I have been working on this story for a while now, and I'm in the third draft stage so a lot has been decided on but, i need feedback on my ideas in order to move forward. At this point only my girlfriend and I know about the story of Orlok and I want to tell the rest of the world the story.

So that's a little about me, I hope to get to know you all a bit better soon.
    Till next time, Cheers

Hey there. Welcome to the forum. From the small amount that you said regarding your story, it seems interesting. Good luck.

Thank you so much Cave Troll for the strange and intriguing welcome message.

    Hey Trish,

That's very interesting, which part of NY are you from? Thank you for the welcome message. :D

Surrealscenes LOL way to make a seemingly innocuous welcome message seem creepy lol. Thank you for the laugh and welcome message.

Shemshari, I didn't really want to spill to much about the story, I figure that can come when I add it to the workshop in a couple weeks. But thank you nonetheless for the welcome message, and I hope I will be able to keep your interest.

Thank you all for the interesting and enjoyable welcome messages.

I'm sure you have done this, but we went to the adventure zone, and rode the mountain coaster. Until then I had never had the chance to ride a mountain coaster, now I want one in my own backyard.
