Hi, everyone Andrew here and I'm writing my first novel. I am new to using a forum and I did go thru the forum intro rules etc.. I look forward to using the forum as I learn more.
Hi Andrew. I'm one of the moderators here. Welcome to the forum. Take your time to nose around, get to know us. Feel free to participate on any of the threads that draw your interest. In addition to the Rules, which you've already read (great start, thanks!) I would suggest you have a look at a few other links as well—especially the New Member Quick Start Guide, which contains a lot of information that new members find useful. There are requirements you must meet before you can fully participate on the forum, for example, so get to know what these requirements are. (The preliminary requirements exist mainly to keep spammers at bay, and also to encourage participation by new members.) New Member Quick Start https://www.writingforums.org/faq/staff.68/ (That's most of us ...a few Mods haven't done a bio yet.) https://www.writingforums.org/faq/ (This is an easy-to-access window into all the areas of the forum) Our Workshop area is one of the most popular sections of the forum. You have a few requirements to meet before you can start posting your own work. But please feel VERY free to visit the Workshop and offer feedback to members who have posted their work for critique. This feedback is much appreciated, and getting feedback is one of the reasons many people join up here. So you can start by offering yours, to anybody whose work draws your interest. There are lots of categories to choose from. https://www.writingforums.org/threads/constructive-critiques.20627/ If you have any questions or encounter any problems, please feel free to start a 'conversation' with me (click my avatar and go from there.) I will be glad to help, if I can. Cheers, and see you around the threads. Jan
