Well i certainly distinguished myself from everyone else. Well mayby thats not a bad thing just yet. So my name is Conor Bell, am 16 and living in liverpool. My main influence has been the inheritence series and my art studies which heavily feature emotion. Am currently writing Blood right, fantasy as is the most common choice for a starting writer, well that and sci-fi. I have an amazing 13 pages and 5 chapters with about 3,700 words lol. Send bim a private message (PM), but it will probably take quite some time for him to get to it. Posting your own work should not be among the very first things you do here. It is worth taking the time to see what other people have done to improve their writing, and see if some of it applies to your writing as well. That is part of why we require members to review other members' work before posting their own for review. On the other hand, there are no restrictions, other than content and copyright rules, on showcasing your work in your member blog. If you haven't explored the site yet, you should probably do so soon. Newcomers often gravitate to the Lounge, the Word Games, or the Review Room, but there is much more to be discovered if you poke in the corners. Remember to check out our FAQ as well, and be sure to read through the forum rules, too, to avoid any misunderstandings or hurt feelings. Respect for one another is our principal mandate. As for the Review Room, new joiners often wonder why we do things a bit differently on this site than on other writing sites. We emphasize reviewing as a critical writing skill. Training your eye by reviewing other people's work helps you improve your own writing even before you present it for others to see. Therefore, we ask members to review other people's writing before posting work of their own. Sorry my bad ive posted in the wrong tab, Damm that rymed ughh, why dose that happen at the worst of times... I can do critical and constructive critism, although it will take me a while to get used to doing it for writing, I have been working on 3d models for game design for about 4 years now nad the slightest flaw in the mesh would cause contervesy on my forum, stuck up was the words often used along with a few choice words... And my bad about the mix up I should really start to pay attention, I would really like to make a good impression here =p cheers cb, And would it be possible to move this thread, since it is in the wrong section. thxs Ironically i did stand out didn't I?
