Hey all, I've been gone for a couple months or so, but I've decided to come back. I'm moving to Tampa soon for a new career and I've been pretty busy with all the things surrounding that. How is everyone doing? How's all the writing coming along? It's nice to be back.

Pallas -- I'm working on it! Juggling it with a few others actually. My main focus, though, is this fantasy I've been working on since June. Not fantasy in the sense of old-fashioned wizards or spells, but more of the Alice in Wonderland/Pan's Labyrinth variety. I wrote about 70K total on it but then decided I want to rewrite it from a different POV, with a nontraditional narrative, kind of like in "The Book Thief." (Plus, my plot went veering off in a weird direction after about 40K, and I mean that in a bad way.) It's going to take a long, long time to get it the way I want it, because it's really complicated. When I start my new job, which will have normal hours (yay!), I can devote a good 3-4 hours of my weekday evenings into writing and make some real progress. Because it's probably going to be slow going (not in a bad way, but it's one of those labor-of-love things), I'm writing the zombie novel and some crime stories for when I'm in the "sit at the keyboard and write 4K" mode. Faust, thank YOU guys for remembering me, lol...how is your life going?
