Hey guys, Looking for some fellow writers to hang with and some inspiration when the going gets tough. I actually came from the film industry, and with a bit of money to make a small film or invest in a writing career, I opted for the latter, for now, because all I need is a computer (or even a pad and a pen), and I can travel around the world doing work =)
Welcome, Aaron. Congrats on the last coal fire power station being shut down in NZ, I would be over the moon should such an event occur here in Aus land. Looking forward to seeing your work, and perhaps even brainstorming or discussing movie making and how it relates to story as written in a novel.
90,000 words! How many are you currently doing per day though? The money in Aus is just too good to give up apparently, lol. Our industries are small enough in volume for innovative ideas to emerge, I suppose! I would love to do that. Are you currently writing anything, novel or movie?
A bit of poetry and mapping out my first attempt at a novel. The dream thing (and screen play) is on the back burner for a bit.
