    Hi

    Thank you for the forum.

I use two pen names, William Perkins and Ralph Wood. I write poetry, philosophy and social commentary. I am a widower, lone dad and a practicing buddhist. I am recently unemployed, by choice, and looking to build a portfolio of work to sell. I got sick of the rat race and the corporate machine so I am finally trying to earn a living doing something I love.

    Please be gentle!

Which categories can I post in. Just tried to post some poetry. It is showing I have " insufficient privileges " to post?

Hi William, and welcome to the forum. :)

Please take a look at our New Member Quick Start. It should answer to most of your questions.

The Workshop is accessible to only those who have met the requirements to post there, but that still means a lot of people. If you worry about someone stealing your work, don't post it on the internet at all. We have a few threads here that discuss copyright though, so feel free to look them up for more information.

This thread might also interest you. I'd recommend reading some of the newer replies to get more up-to-date information.

You have not met Workshop requirements yet. They can be found in the New Member Guide, so please take a look at that first. ;)
