My name is John. I'm currently a political science major, pre-law. I write for fun mostly but have taken several writing workshops to help myself learn the craft. I mostly try to write realism or gritty realism, but I write anything I want really. I mostly joined here because a friend of mine said there were weekly contests and I like being given a vague guide to help focus my writing. I hope I learn a lot about writing here. Thanks
