    historical research on word usages

Discussion in 'Research' started by FJ and G, Aug 1, 2008.

I'm writing a novel. Setting is 1964. Using informal language.

    Use: "freaky ****" s*h*i*t

Looked it up online. It's in Urban Dictionary but doesn't give the date for when it first appeared.

    There's other terms too.

    Any good resource?

    Thanks

You'll not get much help on this question, given that the site is going to filter out words of questionable usage. Give the forum rules a read. I won't speak for the mods, but I have the feeling that attempts to circumvent the site filter through the use of other characters (the method employed within spam) might get you into a spot of trouble.
