Does anyone know how to get a personal email sent when a thread you are following is updated? Sure it's very obvious, but I can't find any boxes to check or pop-up menus etc.
When you reply to a thread there's a dropdown lower down that says subscription type - choose instant email notification (or whichever you prefer). To make this the default, click User CP in the menu bar. Go to Edit Options & go to Default Thread Subscription Mode (choose email notification). Or when subscribing to any thread without replying (ie because you clicked on Thread Tools), again just scroll down to notification options. ~This is probably in the wrong part of the forum - feedback & suggestions might have been a better choice
