Or hear. Or taste. Or feel. Or think.

Does art have to come right out your hands? Digital art is also referred to as computer art, multimedia and new media art.

I couldn't find any other information online about the digital artwork below. I saw it on Reddit.

“I feel that art has something to do with the achievement of stillness in the midst of chaos. A stillness which characterizes prayer, too, and the eye of the storm. I think that art has something to do with an arrest of attention in the midst of distraction.”

    ― Saul Bellow

The definition that comes to Mind is it's a reflection of the artist as well as the world around the artist.

I will also say that any piece of art: painting, writing, sketching or animation. Is apart of the element that creates relationships, and i do believe that - just like human on human relationships, it takes multiple attempts before encountering the one piece that makes you/other artists happy. :p

The Snack Bar, by Edward Burra (1930)

An odd tension exists between the barman, the customer and the slicing of the ham in Burra’s painting. The woman eats distractedly, while the man cuts with enjoyment and a sideways glance at her. Violence and sexual tension seem to be at play.

My reaction is undoubtedly lowbrow: how is he cutting slices than thin with a knife held in that manner?

Each of the 17 photographs in Zimbabwe-based Tamary Kudita's series titled "African Victorian" is as evocative as the next in its stunning juxtapositions of Africa's colonial history, seen in the blend of Victorian fashion with African culture.

The Kiss, (1943) by Tom Lovell, captures that special space two lovers find themselves in, where there is just the two of them as one, where all the rest of existence just disappears.

It's also called The Kiss, by Gustav Klimt

It hides the face of the man and seems to focus on the face of the woman. What would you say is her expression?

Some version of that painting has been hanging in my home since I first saw and bought a fifteen cent copy of it in a headshop in 1973. I can usually look up and see the current version from my chair, but I broke the glass last time I moved it and haven't had it replaced yet.

wouldn't want to have that one on display in my garden o_O

I think I prefer the Klimt. It's much better.

I've always liked the Rodin, too. A friend's mom had a small reproduction in her house when I was in high school, and it influenced my ideas of intimate relationships almost as much as the Klimt.

Is she running away from him or to him?
