How much would someone donate to a miracle healer?

    Maybe you're right.

Yeah, you're right. Maybe I should have people take her for granted? Maybe people who try to guilt trip her, force her to heal, maybe intimidate her?

Again, the issue is they could get the healing for free (if they were selfish enough, and sneaky enough) so again it would be a case of why bother? No need to guilt or intimidate someone when they'll freely give you what you want. BUT the idea of people taking advantage of it obviously is something that would be really interesting to explore. You just need some kind of standard of payment for people to exploit. Even a "suggested donation of..." sign, so that there's some sort of established (even casually-established) minimum, or perhaps somebody actually going round the audience to personally collect the money rather than giving them complete freedom to leave as much as they like.

The biggest problem is it's such an interesting idea that you could debate every single aspect of it and never get anywhere, so it'll be a case of either working out as many kinks as you can, or ignoring the issues that can't realistically be figured out past a certain point. People will find holes, whatever you do. But I think if you've got a miracle healer relying on people's generosity, he/she is going to end up in a lot of trouble, either financially or mortally.

How many people who call themselves religious really know their religious texts? This point could be used to create more conflict- some who view her as the Messiah, some who view her as the Antichrist. These two groups come into conflict sand she is standing there going 'wait, hold on'

Though that just brought a question to mind- how does she view herself? Does she believe she is the Messiah, or just a person born with a gift?
