    Well, you can write however you want. But for those who like to take this seriously and have an eye on publishing, we know that flashbacks are a very common thing. Those of us who read books and stories know flashbacks are a common thing. Enjoy your method.

    Flashbacks do come in for a lot of criticism, though, and I think it's wise to only use them when necessary.
