I still like the approach taken in the movie, a political campaign. The MC ran a political campaign for "None of the Above", which seems all to fitting for many of the current crop of politicians.

I have very expensive hobbies. 30 million in 30 days wouldn't be a stretch.

I am an amatuer/ham radio operator (KB8ZVN), and always looking for gear.

And a related field, I do music production and I'm a BBBIIIGGG fan/advocate of LPFM, LPAM, and Part-15 broadcasting (and if you can read between those lines, I'm nodding my head in silent confirmation), and there's plenty of toys I could get here.

As a musician, I could use new toys. There's a nine-string thirty-six fret double neck Conklin bass I've been drooling over for two decades. And it would need some gear to go with that one.

I have two antique Ford tractors. A 1939 9N that belongs to the family, and I'm the current care-taker of it. I also have a 1952 8N. They're both in good shape, but I could always use some replacement parts for little things. And some additional toys for both.

Buy five bananas worth 6 million dollars each.

    Eat them.

I have simple tastes, and don't need 30 million dollars.

I would put some of this into a savings account. The rest I would give away to my family, to save or spend however they wished.

I would give a million to the Royal Melbourne Philharmonic, where I am a member, to ensure that they can continue their good work in producing fine music.

And then I'd turn up to work on Monday. I know I wouldn't have to, but I've built up a good working relationship and friendship with most of my coworkers, and that's worth more to me than any number of millions. :)

I see acquiring land is most desirable, with what is good for using to grow what will be wanted, especially for food items, and still letting natural environments remain as far as possible. It would not be for selfish possession, but to share with any who would join in work for growing it all to continue, especially to those who would want that and can't afford the land for it themselves, as that is where I am, without millions of dollars to invest in this. That much good land can be shared for those willing to be in community for this. I know even with this I will still want to write, anyway.
