New member here. I am a self-published alternative history, horror and fantasy writer. Looking to both be inspired by other authors and give my two cents to those who may need help.

Hi Harms! I'm one of the forum moderators here, and want to extend a personal welcome to you.

There are lots of self-pubbed writers here (I will be one myself, once I get my head around Vellum!) so you're in good company. It's good for us to hear about your experiences, both as a writer AND as a self-publisher. We have a section specifically for self-published authors https://www.writingforums.org/publishing/self-publishing/.

Anyway, I won't go on and on (as is my usual wont.) Instead, I want to direct you to these two important links, which should help you stay on track with the way the forum operates.

And here is a link I use myself. It helps with navigating the forum, and is easier (in my opinion) to use that opening up all the menu tabs at the top of the pages.

    https://www.writingforums.org/faq/

If you encounter any difficulties or have any questions, feel free to contact me via a 'conversation' and I'll do my best to help. Meanwhile, settle in, have fun getting to know us, and letting us get to know you. :)

    Cheers for now,

    Jan
