It is awesome that your grandfather lived so long...like George Burns. So much we don't know about how certain things affect humans. Probably could learn a lot from people like your grandfather. Maybe it's a gene thing like alcoholism. Not that one can excuse their excessive drinking, but understand what they're prone to due to genes. I have alcoholism in my family as well as other things. I avoid drinking most of the time. I rarely do drink and when I do drink I don't drink but a few...and since I'm part Japanese I get a double whammy of suck. I'm mildly allergic. So I turn red. I can tell if a drink has a lot of alcohol in it. I feel it boil sort of...in my veins. haha.
my take... your friend is living proof that long term pot use causes significant brain damage! that is, if he even had half a brain to begin with, which i have to consider he may not have, or wouldn't have started down the pot road to ruin in the first place... ;-(
