Do you like coffee? Cause I like coffee! Coffee is good! Coffee is a writer's best friend! Coffee comes in cans now, refrigerated ice cold drinks and is most very yummo! Anywayssssssssss.....<some one got a little S happy > welcome to the forum. I do so hope that you have a most wonderful time here with all of us and look forward to seeing you around the boards. Check out the contests as well. They can be a lot of fun. Ever bored? Well not anymore.... WF.org has many wonderful threads to sink your mind into and post up your own thoughts and opinions. Don't forget to review before you post your work up. The more you review, the more you get your work reviewed. Stop by the lounge for idle chit chat and a few good laughs as well. Plenty to be had. Have a good one and yeah, see you round the forum.... Tor
Hello Abigail, Welcome to the Writing Forums. You'll have to forgive Torana. When she says she likes coffee, interpret that in the same way as you would a ravening wolf saying it likes an occasional morsel of meat. If you haven't explored the site yet, you should probably do so soon. Newcomers often gravitate to the Lounge, the Word Games, or the Review Room, but there is much more to be discovered if you poke in the corners. Remember to check out our FAQ as well! As for the Review Room, new joiners often wonder why we do things a bit differently on this site than on other writing sites. We emphasize reviewing as a critical writing skill. Training your eye by reviewing other people's work helps you improve your own writing even before you present it for others to see. Therefore, we ask members to review other people's writing before posting work of their own. The Review Room forums on this site, therefore, are true workshops, not just a bulletin board for displaying your work (and on that note, please only post each item for review in one Review Room forum). See this post, Why Write Reviews Before Posting My Work? for more information. Enjoy your stay here, and have fun!
