After 11 long months, the baby is finally here! My new little girl, Patty B, arrived today at 2:16 p.m. She's a beautiful foal. Pictures to come.
I give you.... Patty B! And, this is me with her. This is my new baby. Perfect ending to a horrible day.
sweet! but from your opening i was about to say no one's pg for 11 months! [and as an 8x pg mom of 7, i know from experience]... then i saw it was not your own baby... congrats to the proud mare-mom! love and hugs, maia
Ha, well my baby was. I can't believe she's a mom now. It's a bit surreal. I remember her being that size! And now, she has Patty.
She's gorgeous! That's great! I ride too, my friend has her own foal who's nearly a year old now. And there'll be another one next year
She's an adorable baby.. Did you see her getting born? I mean I saw the birth of a calf once, and it was great seeing it. Just wondering.
I didn't get to see her birth, I was about an hour late. So, she was just starting to stand when I got there.
Ahh lucky you When Herbie, my friend's foal, was born it was bloody traumatic cos the mum was so stressy she nearly broke his back And he wasn't breathing, so for a bit her dad kept saying 'he's dead' til we found a pulse...then he got pneumonia soon after and nearly died One lucky boy!
Congrats to you on your new healthy foal. nothing is so cute as watching them wobbling up on their first steps.
I wish my phone wasn't dead at the time, because I really wanted to make a quick video of her little wobblers. My baby got superlegs.
*gasps* Se-se-sell her? Li-like for other people? ARE YOU CRAZY? In other words, we are keeping her. Look at that cute face! How could you *not* keep that? (Also note that the spot looks like South America.)
