I need help making up slurs for the vampires in my story. The basic idea is that vampires. And humans attempt to co-exist with each other but as in the real world there are people from both races who belive they are superior to each other and so they have racist slurs for,each other. The trouble is I can't think of one, any ideas?
Slurs for vampires: Blood sucker Undead freak Corpse humper Demon Long teeth Vamp Slurs for humans: Ape Meat bag Delusional roaches God's drunken failure/God's biggest mistake Little brains Mortal Hope that helps.
For humans: Food trough Drinking fountain Midnight snack For vampires: Dead pedophile (well, they do get old!)
A good slur, one that works really well, is one you can bark out quickly. Short, single-word slurs are best for that. You don't always have to bark a slur out at the recipient, but you want that capacity to be there for when the moment arrises. Long, overly complex slurs tend to fail in delivery. So, if you're looking for a set word, the word that's usually used, not the ones that get made up in the moment, look to the short words in the offerings you receive in this thread. ETA: Of the offerings so far I like ape as a slur for humans and corpse for vamps. You can get behind both of those words with some serious angry.
Parasite, Leech^, blood whore, Sucker, corpse, cold-skin, etc. You can make fun of how they're dead, or say they don't have a soul. Anything that involves sucking. Say they're similar to tampons lol. You can really go anywhere you want with it.
An insult I could imagine throwing at a human: - "Toothless...", "short-lifer". An insult I could imagine throwing at a vampire: - "Fuck off back to Twilight you pasty twat"
i don't have slurs but more like sayings, warning: graphic content do not enter if easily buthurt human to vampire : hey, how do you comb your hair? (a joke about them not seeing a reflection in a mirror) human woman to vampire: woman removes tampon and throws it at a vampire and says "drinks on me" lol i am horrrible
Here's a stretch. I think it works because it is close to an existing slur. From the hemoglobin in blood that either vampires suck or humans have, call the vamps or humans hemos.

Along the lines of modern 'lolspeak' mistyped words, how about 'count', as in, "you absolute count....."
