It was to be Mika but then I rather liked this ending. though it was sad it some how had that poetic feel. I enjoyed this game the game consisted of a good group of players and some great interaction. Its been a good four weeks of playing.
i liked it... i'm always trying to play a different char in every RPG... Artie was a nice push-over turned hero... the unlikely, he represented the bluest of the blue collar... here's to Artie Boy... R.I.P.
-removes hat, recites Psalm 23- Yeah, I think this one lays Spencer to rest, too. Even though he lived. I like the concept, but I've played him twice now, and I'm satisfied with his performance here.
Amen to that! It's too bad the Chris/Eve thing couldn't have played out a little further. It'd have been interesting to see where it would have went.
aww it's over? damn... I've got too much crap going on. I'm on rpg vacation til January. GG guys. I'll have to read the ending later.
I kinda had the same reaction! Poor Spencer, I really thought they might survive to ride off into the sunset together. Wow, it really was a tragic/heroic ending for pretty much everyone, though. Well played by all and a lot of fun. And thank you, Emerald, for the interesting subplot to write. Thanks, Raven, for yet another great RP.
LOL! I was hoping for at least ONE happy ending in the midst of this...but no. And yes, Kudos to Emerald for making things interesting for us!
Ah I make no contribution to save anyone. -___- Still great ending. I guess I won't be gettin Sadie either sooo. At least I got a drinking buddy.
Hehe, depressing indeed. What I want to know is... did we save the day in the end, or what? Omar would probably be pleased though. After all his bitching about this being a suicide mission, he ended up pretty much right
Yeah, we saved the day. We blew up the Thing of Doom. Though whether this stopped the Drekk permanently or merely temporarily has yet to be seen... Actually, one thing that never happened is an encounter with The Blood.
It was a well played game by all. The interation between players was great and the imaginations everyone put into the game worked a treat. The Blood were removed from the game simply because they were one enemy too many. I enjoyed playing this. My next project will be the final ever Rybok's Rat Pack RPG with a prequel story to come before the games launch. And the even greater news is Gloom Kitty will be joining us in the final Rat Pack game. Gloom was also an original player from the first game done way back in 2006. I've already started writing the short story prequel to the game and then I'll start adding the updates for the main game. In the meantime a toast to ICE well played and a good four weeks of interaction.
I'll do it over in my blog, and post a link here for anyone interested. If it's any good, maybe Raven will let me put it up on the main thread....
