If you could have any pet mytical, real, anime ect... what would it be and why ? I would have a gaint stag bettle why you ask ? simple, huge bug with crushing jaws, a massive horn and armor plating. It would be like having a tank with vice grips for a pet.

That link you sent me was truly eye opening. I loved it! I think your right that animals should not be abused or caged. But, I belive that my cat and dog have so far as I know have had a better life than they would have without my familys help as both are animals were "rescued" from the animal shelter. I do understand your point of view. But, I think having a pet is ok just so long as the pet is not aware/inteligent like humans would be if they would be pets. Also this is a fantsy pet thread, I do not in anyway itended to create a gaint stag bettle as that would more a horrible decession it would be the only one of its kind and would not belong anywhere just to name two reasons why it would be bad. But, this being a fantsy pet I think it would be acceptable to say what you had always dreamed of having.
Ok so do you know how many differnt bettles there are and how hard it is two my idea of a stag bettle !? which by the way is a big bettle two large saw toth pinchers and a massive horn. since many people seem to have more than one pet and many of them seem to me fantsy related I would like to add another to my top pet tiger of the wind from monster ranchers god I miss this show
I was a Chikorita in Mystery Dungeon (partner was a Mudkip ) so I feel a lingering affection for the Chikorita, even though I'm more of a water type.

^ Agreed with this post. A T-Rex or a Pokémon would be cool and all, but with the T-Rex I wouldn't like cleaning up the mess - droppings or neighbours who are scrapped across my window alike - and a Pokéemon would irritate the hell out of me with it's neverending habit of saying it's name over. And over. And over. A cat (on the other hand) is clean, intelligent and self-reliant. If you asked me to be silly I'd maybe say a Cthulhoid however.
Was that supoused to be a pun or something cogito or did I miss the meaning in the post before you ? I think that t-rex would be a heck of a pet but way to much work. Than again I had a parot once those things or preaty messy to. I've never see a pokemon in real life so I dont know what there like to take care of but, I think it would be great to have a pokemon like dragonair that was always my favorite. So cute, agile, mysterious and strong. Cogito that feline action figure you posted reminds me of the kahit from Oblivion. I would have to agree with the squirtle thing, when ash first met him he was "cool", a pokemon that actauly had a personality... I realy liked that episode as a kid. Me being an anime freak and all if I were to choose a cat I would chose my own neko ! kawai ! That is about the limit to my japanese. By the way it means cute if you didnt know. I did some research appently stag bettles make for preaty easy to take care of pets but, unfourently they only live for a few months. Also the chain chomp was so cool in link to the past for gbc I loved that game it was so funny. Keep the posts coming these are all preaty interesting.
