im starting a graphic novel. its called rouge. . a man loses his mentor while a race loses thier world. able carter losees his father in line of duty. while coping with his lose he inherites something out of this world when a space craft crashes. upon inspection able uncovers a humanoid that warns him of a great war. the humanoid passes a symbiot to able after he dies, giveing able super human abilities. can able save the world and reclaim justice?
That sounds too much like the Green Lantern to me. Just exchange a ring and lantern for your symbiot. I'm not trying to rain on your parade or anything but you are going to have to work hard to make it your own.
I'm not telling you to NOT write your story but just making you aware that the plot is very similar to something that has already been done and you are going to have to come up with some very creative differences to make it work.
iv got two big ideas goin one is this and it was rush together. the other story i need alot of help. im looking for a partner to come together on both. rouge sounds like green lantern for sure but if u dive into the world of it, its something bigger. just need some ideas
Hi, welcome to the forum. Your first task should you accept the assignment little grasshopper is to not post here like you're writing a text message. Forgive me for being forward. Are you posting from one of those devices without a keyboard? Do you have access to a computer with a keyboard? Spellcheck would be a good idea as well. Writers need to use proper grammar including caps and full words. Once one is skilled at writing some authors do take literary license and paint their words differently which can work. But bad habits are harder to break than to not develop in the first place so it's a good idea to start using good grammar and writing habits when you can.
For this graphic novel, are you the artist, the modeler, the writer? Can you give an example of a graphic novel you would like to emulate?
