On November 20th, 2008 at 07:56 (AM Eastern Time), my son, Malachi Alexander was born via C-section. He was 9lbs 9oz and 23 3/4 inches long. It's exhilerating and tiresome. Hopefully, he'll start sleeping at night pretty soon and I can get some time to write. I have found that reading is an easy way to stay awake during the day while he sleeps.
Congratulations on the birth of your son. I hope you, your wife and your new son (and any siblings he might have) enjoy many wonderful years ahead.
I've had a low key experience of what it must be like to be a parent. My parents had their second child (my sister!!) when I was 11. It was ridiculous. She's a great kid, and it's pretty fun growing up with young ones. P.S. Hope the wife fared well in C Section. My mom was on so many drugs she can't remember the first 3 days after my sister's birth. Maybe not a bad thing! Hah!
Congratulations to you and your partner. That is truly wonderful news. I hope that everything goes well for you both and your precious little man. THere really is no feeling in the world, quite like becoming a parent. May every day be filled with many wonderous and joyful moments. Torana!
Thanks for all the kind words. It took me a while, but I've finally found our online hospital pictures.
Congrats! ---I'm too young really to understand the joy and excitement you probably have, but I'll try! Best of wishes to the new child! Z
He manages to look angelic in nearly all the pics. That'll change! *Sadistic fellow parent laughter* Sorry.
