Hello from Nevada. I tinker with writing sci-fi/fantasy and have been looking for a place full of people who actually know how to write. I don't currently have anyone in my social sphere that I can bounce questions off of. I don't expect that "published" will ever enter my little realm. I write mainly for myself and my friends. *Where* to put my writings is a subject I'll save for a thread of questions, once I figure out where that should go (I'm thinking General Writing?). As a long time user of Internet forums, I'd like to thank the WF wite owners/admins/staff for crafting what is the most organized and informative "Welcome" private message I've ever run across. It's quite amazing how often site administrators forget the details like that including links to FAQ's, forum rules, and other important information.
Welcome, have fun and if there's anything you want to discuss in terms of world building or the like, feel free to post a thread. This is one of the nicest forums on the internet and is really quite helpful.
