The horse--I would have given it a sturdy prehensile tail to use as an extra hand (still with a brush on the end of course to keep the flies off), and large, springy, padded feet instead of hooves, so that it could run more quietly and it wouldn't hurt so bad when it kicks ya. What is the worst thing that anyone has ever said about your writing, and how much--if at all--did it affect you? (You may substitute asterisks for obscene or curse words, of course.)
"You can't write dialogue for sh*t"... ...I said "I know, I'm working on it." They always tell me the truth so I value their opinion. I've always wanted to ask you, do you have music you listen to that will inspire you to write? What is it and do you listen to it AS you write?
Why, it's funny that you would ask that. The music is nowhere near as influential to my writing as the voices. They never... never... NEVER... NEVER.... STOP..... *answering the voices* What's that? Kill who...? No! I tell you NO!!! *hits self on head* But seriously, folks: I used to find a lot of inspiration for writing in Dimitri Shostakovich. I'm not sure why. I don't listen to musik when I write much anymore because I get too caught up in it and distracted by it. Sometimes I will listen to techno and industrial (instrumentals only) while writing, but only very rarely. What is your favorite scene from the movie Monty Python and the Holy Grail? and if you have never watched it, will you please explain the logical loophole that permits you to have internet access in your hut in Tierra del Fuego? (edit) Curses, someone beat me to the punch! What is your most favorite thing to do in the world other than writing and why?
Hmm, I guess it would be video games, even though it's usually considered a guy thing after you reach mid high school I suppose. lol Or it would have to be anime/manga. You need a break after that sometimes though, hence I revert back to video games. Who is your favorite Disney princess and why?
Disney... princess...? Hm... well, did Belle (from "Beauty and the Beast") become a princess? I can't remember if she was a commoner or a princess. If she's a princess, then: Belle, I guess. What was the first thing you ever wrote that you felt was good? (Subject, what type of writing it was, and so on--feel free to give details such as whether it received a good grade, whether you ever showed it to anyone, and so on.)
it was a 6th grade essay where we had to write a one page story using the theme of hunters. I remember that i felt like it was the best thing i ever did because i planned every intricate detail and made sure misspelled words were in the right place. i eventually got a A and that story sparked my whole interest in writing. When was the first time you felt you needed to write something meaningful?
Hm....well my first poem was inspired by my best friend, so then I guess! What is your idea of a true friend?
Someone who is not afraid to tell it like it is, and who sticks throught the tough times. Someone who apreciates me and is respectful Who is your favourite Disney villain?
At the moment - 'a la folie pas du tout' Evryone should see it! ..stars Audrey Tautau in an unpredictable thriller about obsession, with great twist halfway through. What inspires you?
Everything, and anything. I watch the world and remember things. I might write about the way some guy looks at his girlfriend, watching a little kid cry, my friends fighting. But mostly, I guess my feelings. And the way they are so complex. Hm....what kind of music do you listen to?
I listen to anything from hard rock, to grunge, to christian metal. What do you love most about life?
What do I love MOST? Thats a tough one. I guess.....the details. I mean have you ever listened to a little kid sing? Or watched the water ripple? Or watched your best friend smile? I try to see those things as much as possible, and they are the best. I guess thats what I love best. Whats your favorite quote? Why?
"I reject your reality and substitute my own" Because it sums me up SO well and the little world I live in as well. What is your favorite curse word...oh wait this isn't Inside the Actor's Studio...Who in your life has had the most influence on why you write?
No one really. I just have a need inside me to write and tell stories. It's like a living thing that just needs to get out. What is your favorite thing (story/article/poem/etc) that you have ever written?
Hmmmm... probably Coke, in the end. It's always the best of the soda choices. Did you ever think you were going to become a writer?
I guess it would be to become a New York Times bestseller, have a decent home, married, 2 kids, and happy no matter what. Have you ever had a sugar shot before?
Haha, nice. Um, no I haven't..... Have you ever looked at the people around you and thought about where they would all be in 5 years? Like those little kids who'll be teens or the elderly who could be gone? If so, did you appreciate the world a little more right then?
No, it made me all sentimental and teary-eyed, which I despise, because I get too emotional. Have you ever been to a Broadway show, and if so, which one?
