Listen to music, indulge in something I absolutely enjoy. It can be taking pictures, watching an old movie, eating something I love but don't eat all the time. Sometimes just getting out for awhile helps me. What makes you truly happy?
If you had asked me this a year or two ago, I'm not sure what I could have told you. I don't think we can ever as people see, or understand happiness when we finally receive it. I think happiness is allowing yourself to slow down and realize the beauty in what you have. To stop and think "Wow, this place is beautiful." I think happiness is finally finding confidence to be the person that you are, and realizing that you are unique. Money cannot make you happy. People cannot make you happy, unless you make yourself happy. Be proud of being you, and accept the mistakes and take them not as mistakes but as learning experiences. That is what makes me truly happy. Who in your life has truly inspired you to be the person that you've become?
Two people, one is my oldest son, he has challenged me to be more than I am. He is a great encourager and just a very good "friend". I wont go on about him because my blog and profile page are full of him. The second would be a very dear and special friend. We met when I was going through a difficult period in my life. That friend has believed in me from day one, there have been many people who have helped and encouraged me...but he has cheered me on while talking me through some pretty low places. Never once has he encouraged anything that I couldn't achieve. What is one of your best moments?
It was pretty recent, and it was made of three days. I went to DC for a program National program. I met some High up people, and I got to bond with people from my program from all over the country. I made life long friends and networked with some people that could really help me in the future. I learned the power of my own words, and with these words I have people that ask for me by name from our National network. But most of all, I finally figured out what I wanted to do with my future. What do you see for your future? What is your current long term goal?
