    Interzone

Discussion in 'Traditional Publishing' started by NeilP, Sep 7, 2021.

Just wondered if anybody here has had any experience of submitting to (and possibly being published by) Interzone.

I'm working on some sci-fi shorts, and was thinking of giving one a try with them when it's finished.

When I've looked into publishers accepting sci-fi shorts, they were the only one on the list that I've already heard of - not sure whether that means it's a good choice since they are well-known, or a bad choice since it's well-known (therefore maybe a lot more competition for limited places.)

I've sent them a few stories. All received form rejections. You're definitely up against a lot of competition submitting there, but at least they respond super quickly (like, 3 days is a long wait for them). Good luck!
