Invoicing is something every freelance writer has to do, so I was wondering what online invoicing software are you guys using?
I don't know about the other freelance writers on this forum, but the only piece I got published came with an acceptance letter and a cheque. So, no, invoicing ISN'T something EVERY freelance writer has to do. And, unless you're writing a shed-load of stuff, how much invoicing are you (realistically) going to have to do? Enough to buy some specialist software? Perhaps not.
I found a form online for freelance invoicing once and used it for a number of acting jobs I did after my agent chickened out and quit (I swear I had nothing to do with it!) I don't remember where I found it, but a quick Google should turn up loads of them. Just pick one that's appropriate for your region/country/whatever.
Thanks for the replies! I went to do some Google research and decided on using SlickPie. It's a free accounting software and their invoicing is pretty quick and easy. If anyone else is in need of an invoicing software, definitely check it out
