Is A. W. G. Coleman the greatest writer of our time?

Discussion in 'Discussion of Published Works' started by Selbbin, Jul 10, 2014.

Once upon a time I stumbled upon the profile page of A. W. G. Coleman, author of the 'Quest of the Sealbearers' series. It is.... rather entertaining.

Please check it out and maybe tell me what your impressions were of the Author and his work.

Sorry, I just had to share. I'm a mean and horrible human being.

Although you gotta give the kid credit, he really went full speed at this thing and kudos to that. It deserves some respect. Love the suit!

I don't see where he called himself "the greatest writer of our time"? I haven't read his work, but he is obviously quite young and trying to present himself well, so I don't see a problem.

That's my statement not his. As I said, I guess I'm being mean.

He seems alright. Profiles like that are scattered across the web. Always with the pompous, pious - the first instinct, webwise, is the 'you are a twat' - button push, send...but maybe they are not so bright, or just different...to me...

...I and I seek one love, ras tafari, (apols channelling Bunny Wailer today via twin ear candles)

It's teen books, isn't it - Davron taking over the universe, defeated by class 10.

Live n let live, good luck to him

    ...

Saying all that...the problems do arise - when we give idiots all this leeway...and they fall for their own propaganda, with our leniency to blame, and they become politicians, your boss, head of the army, the voice of America, Europe, the free world...

Piers Morgan would be one easy example.

My old Dad said the 'closer to the top of the organisation, the bigger the prick.' Mum said the same thing.
