A link is one thing, actual excerpt text is another. And "bless" is a strong word. It's not expressly forbidden, but it's not exactly a "done" thing.

One's email is not a self promotion tool unless that email comes as part of a message promoting services. Be that the case, it's not the email that is problematic, but the promotion of services.

sorry, wrey... i didn't know it was agin' the rules for me to include links to a piece of my work that is on my website... i've done that occasionally in the past and was never told it was a problem and i should not do it... is this a result of recent rules changes, or what?

of course i'll abide by the rules... did not mean to break them, as i hope you should know about me after all these years...
