    Issue with login

Discussion in 'Support & Feedback' started by Low, Oct 7, 2013.

I login with facebook, and I also have pages on facebook that I manage. So like, the problem is, I login using my facebook account. And meanwhile, on facebook I change from my personal profile to this page Im managing, and all of a sudden when I click on a threat in supporters forum, I find that I have been logged out.

I think the issue is with me changing my facebook browisng to the page somehow logs out from this site. Im pretty sure this isnt supposed to happen like this, or is it?

I'm not sure if this is avoidable or not, but I'll look into it.

Okay, so if you log out of Facebook you'll be logged out of the forum if you sign into the forum with Facebook. And it looks like changing pages is treated as logging out.

To avoid this you should be able to log in with your username and password, instead of via Facebook, which will allow you to remain logged in here regardless of Facebook activity.

The facebook account pass in combination with the account username?

    I'm not sure.

I think you might be able to set an alternative password in your profile. If you do this, you'd use your username and that pass; or, you could click connect with facebook. My understanding is you would basically have two log-ins with your account.
