Hello all, my name is Joshua. I signed up for an account here over a year ago, but I believe this is my first post. I have been out of the writing game for quite some time. I studied writing and literature in college, so naturally I am currently employed as a bartender. After I left the university setting and the competitive (but also supportive) writers I noticed my will to write creatively losing steam. I fell into some bad habits and made some poor life choices, but have recently turned things around and started sifting through old notebooks. Of course, this always brings back the itch to create. My physical community is not really populated by the "writerly" type, so I was hoping to become part of an online community of readers, writers and thinkers. It seems like I have found a good place to start. I'm looking forward to reading everyone's works and having mine read as well. I'm a thick skinned person and I respond very well to constructive criticism. I'm very excited to get to know people here and to broaden my range as a reader and writer. So sorry this sounded a job interview e-mail.
Welcome. Your post did raise a couple of questions: - Can you give an example of a time when you have been able to use your leaderships skills? Where do you see yourself in five years time?
