Occasionally we do get an awesome little show, most recently it was a comedy series 'Cookoo' it was a gem. Also 'Arrow'. And old 'True Blood' although it's become silly, but I nostalgically still watch it.
Yeah, most, but not all. Anyway, we do have those shows too, but I just prefer to watch them online at my own leisure, several episodes straight if I so choose, and without having to wait for the commercials to end. If you download torrents, you can get BR definition... but surely none of us stoop to such evil.
Oh yeah, it's no doubt U.S. scripted TV shows are good. (My 2 favorites are The Walking Dead and Breaking Bad. Might get into Game of Thrones soon) When you're looking at casual TV (basically something to watch on the screen when you're bored), the content is lacking and most of it is reality TV. Because 1, it's cheap to produce and 2 it just sells somehow.
