That's pretty far! I'd offer to help, but I think that's a bit of a drive ;) I've moved more times than I wish to count in my life; never something I look forward to....although we'll be moving in August and I'm totally looking forward to that. Time to get out of our ghetto apartment!

Oh wow, this early? When do your classes start? I don't go back until mid-August.

Gotcha...that's smart. Are you living in dorms on campus or apartments?

Good for you - dorm life sucks. I lived on a floor with 25 other girls...and we shared TWO showers. It was hell...and they were the disgusting showers too. The water went cold pretty much after the second person took a shower. So my roommate and I usually set our alarms 4 am and showered first. I wore shower shoes, tried not to touch anything, and got the heck out of there as fast as I could!

Then I'd go back to my room and try to sleep before my 8am classes. God, I'm glad I'm not still living there!!

Yeah, I've heard some horror stories. I just thought it's cheaper to stay at home. :)

That too! hehe...I couldn't stand living at home any longer though, even though my school is within driving distance from my parents house. So I applied for an RA position my sophomore year - covered housing and meal plans, but I never got to move off campus. Which was probably a good thing because I got into less trouble (I go to tiny, private Baptist school...Baptists are kind of strict on things like alcohol and guys :p)

lol, I'm probably making myself sound like a crazy, wild child...you know, with discussions about me lying about dating guys I wasn't supposed to be dating and that sort of stuff. And come to think of it, I was a crazy, wild child. Proud to say I've matured (slightly) since then!

    I'm a Baptist. :)

I think I just want the cost to be as low as possible, personally.

I'm Baptist too - and actually practicing my faith now, which I definitely wasn't the first half of college.

That's a good thing...Student loans are not fun. And especially if you're going to be in for 10-12 years!

From what I know of you on here, you'd make a good teacher!

I nearly had an early mid-life crisis figuring out my major. I almost went to veterinary school to be a large animal vet...but I spent a summer interning at the Equine Vet in my area and almost passed out because of the blood :p Apparently I don't handle it well! So then I toyed with several different ideas (Writing, Journalism, English, and Photography to name a few)...I finally picked a major halfway through my sophomore year and am now paying by graduating late.

High School English is so much more fun too, because they actually know how to write a bit better.

    And there's more drama :D

    Nope

Just think about it though. If you survive this, you're ready to be a teacher. :D Students are just small carnivores.
