Well, English is my native tongue.

I plan to learn sign language...it is a part of my degree, so I know I will be fluent...yeah, I know, it isn't sexy or romantic, but it is necessary for the teaching of the deaf. which I plan to do when I am done with school.

I don't speak any other language, though I would very much like to learn Italian and French.

I most likely will study them in college.

English is not my native language. I can read, write and speak in Russian. Also can read and speak a little bit of Spanish, since that is the language I want to learn. I think I will do it eventually. My original plan was to spend the Summer living somewhere in Spain, but work constraints won't allow me that. Maybe I'll try using Rosetta Stone and then practice with friends or coworkers.

    1. Is English your native language?
    Yes

2.What language(s) are you able to read/write/speak in?
    English (obviously)
Japanese - I can read hiragana and katakana and a few hundred kanji.
    Spanish, to a lesser degree.

3.What are some languages you want to learn?
As many as I can. But next I want to learn Standard Mandarin.

    4. Which ones do you think you're actually going to learn in this lifetime?
Probably quite a few. I'm pretty determined.

    5. How do you plan on mastering said language(s)?
Take courses, read books and dictionaries, talk to people who speak the language, travel to places where the language is spoken. Watching Youtube videos in said language is often a good way to learn the sound of the language, if you are not learning from a teacher and you do not know anyone else who speaks it.
