It reveals several details about different members of the...thing. Story, I guess. Emotions and their past and why they are the way they are. Also, I have to go to work. That milk won't stock itself, you know!
Yup, that's the crux of it for me. I see a character concept, I gotta know what makes 'em tick; why they're like they are. Which is pretty much why I put so much emphasis on emotion, thought, and feeling in my own writing.
That's why I hated Fitz. Though his insanity also made me love him. And now I love him because of the...things. Crap! Late for work! Bye...
later, bro... and i agree, Teele... inso facto, it seems we're having this discussion in Exodus' discussion thread too...
lol, yep... but i agree 100%... remember when i tried to explain to Blossom why Milandro wanted to get his hands on Kayal?...
lol. I thought the reasoning behind Fitz's "insanity" was fairly obvious; I've been dropping hints since day one. He's not actually crazy, BTW. I prefer to think of it as some sort of self-imposed schizophrenia. He's been alone so long, he has learned to be a million different people in one, which makes him a little imbalanced at times. He's the social equivalent of a chameleon. Isn't monologuing fun! Who will be our next storyteller? I'd also like to mention that I fully agree on the walkie-talkie idea. I was planning on grabbing some as soon as we stop. As well as some duct tape; you can always use duct tape.
i know, AnonyMouse... it's in the profile... i'm just surprised that only one person recognized Dirk...
Haha, me. I like Fitz. He reminds of me of Neville in I Am Legend crossbreeded with Sean Connery. A smart, witty, well-spoken nut.
yea that's a good description, Soldato... in other news, who was Jason responding to?... not Jerry I hope, cuz he isn't riding with our characters...
