Let's Talk About Chapter Length (again)

    As a child reading at bedtime I was always told I could read to the end of the chapter. I always used to have a look to see how far away that was and loved to see a long chapter waiting for me. As an adult I no longer have that restriction, but still find I read to the end of a chapter before breaking off to do something else. Some habits are hard to break.

    You'd really be in a pickle with authors like Scott Smith, who don't use chapters at all :)

    I type with my foot - open mouth insert foot in case that is not clear. Anyway I apologize if you are a youngster but based on your earlier statement in another thread I drew my erroneous conclusion.

    @tonguetied - no need for apologies. You weren't far off the mark, as it happens, but when you get to this age every year counts.
