    Life and society - 18th century london edition

    I'm looking for any and all information pertaining to the aforementioned topics as they pertain to 18th century London, and especially as it pertains to the common person. Documentaries, recommended reading, etc. Preferably something that can be found somewhere on the internet. Thanks in advance.

    Well, Mayhew's "London Labour and the London Poor" might help. It's a little late for the time period you want (written around 1840) but I bet plenty in there traces back to the 18th century.

    See if you can find primary source writing as well. In other words, stuff written by people at the time. There were lots of folks scratching out diaries at that period of history, and some of them might be most enlightening. They'll give a perspective that scholarly works won't.
