EDIT: Aaagh, curse you, dustinthewind! You beat me to earth for 3 minutes.
Name: Ignatius Ignis Age: 23 Height: 5' 10" Weight: 170 Blood Type: O- Element: Fire Appearance: Ignatius has curly, dark brown hair that is always slicked back in just the right way for the curls to still show with a single curl sticking out over his brow, and similarly colored eyes. Oddly enough both his hair and his eyes sometimes appear to have a slightly red tint to them. Ignatius wears upper class, business style clothes. At the same time though, he is a very destructive and violent person. As can be seen by his weapon of choice; the Volcano Shotgun. Weapons/Armor: Ignatius carries only one weapon: the Volcano Shotgun. The Volcano Shotgun is Ignatius's heavily personalized and customized shotgun. It's designed to fire shards of crystallized fire rather than regular shot along with a burst of fire. It is also collapsible, reinforced, and has attachments that allow it to function as a sniper rifle and a machine gun; all of which are compatible with his custom silencer. Ignatius carries all of his ammo, attachments, and the Volcano Shotgun in a secret pocket inside his coat pocket. He wears no armor other than his business clothes which are enchanted to provide mild protection against projectiles and physical attacks. Background: Ignatius Ignis is the heir of the extremely rich and noble Ignis family. The family had once been the holders of a massive monopoly that controlled the weapon and jewel industries. All of the seats on the boards of directors for their companies had been held by fellow Ignis family members. That is until Pravus Ignis betrayed his entire family. He offered the souls of his entire family to the dark lord Revlan in exchange for power and wealth unimaginable, with this power he assassinated the entire family... Except for Ignatius. When Ignatius's powers were discovered the family shunned him sending him away to stay with his great-great-grandfather. Fortunately for Ignatius his father had been around for an extremely long time, long enough to learn everything there was to learn. Over the years Ignatius learned everything he could from his his great-great-grandfather. That is, until Pravus came to his home, in a split second he incinerated the house, immediately burning the old man to death. The only reason Ignatius survived was due to the fact that he had control over fire and managed to keep himself from being burned. The only reason he was not chased down by Pravus was that he had been hidden from his generation, only the older family members and the business leaders knew of him. Immediately after the Ignis family had been murdered Pravus fled from the modern world, joining the Dark Cultists of Revaln. Meanwhile, Ignatius has since then inherited the entire fortune of the entire Ignis family, including the company. He put new people in charge of running his company while remaining the absolute head of the company using condition such as gaining a 10% allowance from the companies revenue, and retaining the last say in all major changes. He has recently been traveling the world, sabotaging and destroying organizations and companies that he deems "Unfit to remain active".
Name: Tess Lightbringer Age: 21 Height: 5'7" Weight: 125 lbs. Blood Type: AB Element: Light Appearance: Personality: Weapons/Armor: Background:
*radio chatter* "This is unit 43 I'm in pursuit of armed robbers on interstate 785, suspects are riding a black Kyro Armored Truck, vehicle is heavily armored and suspects are very dangerous. Suspects are believed to be using heavy weaponry. This is a code beta alert, I repeat code beta alert." "The nights rush is a dangerous one, it screams for the desires of many. It is merely a trap to ensnare you in the most predictable and most deadly of things..." *radio chatter* "Unit 23 is down, there is a conformation on heavy weaponry. We need to stop that car!" "The night is known to kill the ones who are the most unprepared..." *radio chatter* "Suspects have destroyed 3 civilian vehicles! Dammit! My partner has been shot, he requires medical assitance. Take that damn car out now!" "It screams for you my son, it wants you to come. You are prepared to face the challenges of the night, go to it. The dark denizens of the fortress are hurting the pure. I must have their SOULS! My son, you know what must be done." "I do, master." A dark figure overlooking the city of Zavala, takes a glimpse at the smoke that fills the air. The Black trench coat he wears whips in the western wind along with a silver pendant, his hands are covered with gloves, both articles of clothing cover the runic scripts magically bound to his flesh. His short hair, as black as the night itself, brisks along the wind with his coat. A large broadsword almost as tall and menacing as the man carrying it, with archaic runes is magically bound to the back of his coat. Within his coat is a unique kind of pistol, the bullets, enhanced with magical powers and a .357 within the other holster of his coat. He knows of the battle that takes place on the city streets. A smile comes across the figures face, "Mere mortals, you have no idea what you've gotten yourself into." Then the figure jumps from his cliff-like perch to defeat the darkness of the city streets. He closed his eyes, feeling the rush of the wind along his body, the coat flapping upwards during the decent. When he opened his eyes a bar became visible to him, and like a true acrobat, he grasped, swung, and flung himself to the next building. He landed without a sound and continued to rush himself along at a fast pace. He jumped from building to building with grace, and still continued to keep his momentum. After running for some time he managed to reach his point of interception. The truck was right under him, and pure souls flittered in the air from their pre-death, not sure where to go. This happened many times when evil was involved, it disturbed him, to see such pure unadulterated life just wander helplessly in the air, searching for a purpose. This he quickly brushed aside, and continued to chase the armored truck. At an instant he made the jump and landed with a thump on top of the truck. "dammit what the hell was that", said one of the robbers "go check it out. We need to get these explosives to the docks, and the cops are already giving us enough trouble. We don't need anymore distubances." The robber nodded and pulled out an LJ7 military standard SMG. He climbed the ladder and opened the roof compartment, when he looked all he saw was a shadow and the barrel of a uniquely shaped pistol. He would of admired it more, that is if he hadn't been shot with it. Blood sprayed on the inside and Deathblade kicked the body back inside the truck. He then proceeded to jump down, and when he made his landing a pistol was pointed to the back of his head. "heh" chuckled the other robber "thought you could outsmart us, huh?" "Actually, I already did" "heh, a wise guy eh?! I've only got one thing to say to wise guys." "and what would that be?" said Deathblade a smile creeping over his face. "See you in hell, asshole!" And a gunshot rang out through the truck.
Asher was lying back on the grassy plains. The air was light and warm, a soft breeze coming in from the west. He enjoyed the feeling of the wind, so peaceful and calm. He heard the grass hiss under the waving gusts of air. His right hand gently drifted over to his scroll, touching one of it's thick slabs. It was as long as his torso and as wide as both of his legs. The ground began to shake. Asher's eyes grew wide, h recognized that shaking. The earth was crying out to him, he could hear i even though it was opposite of his own special abilities. It was the raiders and they were close. It was finally his chance to save someone from his own fate. He was special, he could save the village. Asher leaped up, grabbing his scroll and tying it securely to his body before reaching behind him and tugging on one of the parchment seals. "Fourth seal, cloud summon," he said softly, as he unrolled the parchment, thick white clouds poured out, covering Asher's feet. He quickly resealed the scroll when there were enough. He waved his arms, Asher lifted into the air, riding the cloud to the village where he raiders were about to make first contact.
" Biogen Industries." Ignatius Ignis said. "Vasallus, what information do we have about these people?" he asked his personal assistant who was driving his car. "It seems that they are a biological company that has produced many life saving pharmaceuticals. At least, that's what the general public knows. According to our information network though they are ruthless weapon dealers who are currently working on an advanced strain of Anthrax that will be placed in long-range ballistic missiles." "So what do you think, go in, intimidate them, get the proof, and kill them all?" " As always sir, you are perfectly correct." Vasallus said as they pulled up to Biogen's head factory. "Good, come back in exactly..." Ignatius said as he got out of his car and glanced at his watch. "exactly 2 hours from now" he said as he closed the door. He walked through the door of the building with an air of complete superiority. He walked right past the front desk to the elevator with only the comment of "Count Exuro, I have an appointment with Mr. Caput" to which he received no objection. "Mr. Caput, a pleasure to finally meet you, I am Count Exuro. I believe we talked over the phone about a possible business agreement." He said as he entered the head of the companies office. "Oh yes, please sit. Now in the past 5 years we have seen a 15% increase in..." but before he could finish Ignatius set a packet of papers on his table. "Actually I would like you to explain this first. In there are pictures and testaments against your company showing that you have been creating Biological weapons and distributing them to... unsavory groups. What would you know of this?"
Alan was walking along the riverside when he heard an impressively loud woosh going through the air. He stopped and looked up, only to find a much faster cloud moving towards the east. He recognized the cloud; he had helped in it's making. Even after such a long time, his brother couldn't keep himself where he was supposed to be-- that is, meeting with Alan. Show off, he thought, and decided that it was best to follow his hasty brother. We can't even meet where I want to. His guitar weighted him down a bit, but he didn't mind the downside compared to the upside: He could play anywhere. And he would have, right then, if it wasn't for his brother, always eager to annoy him in whatever minor way he could think of. He opened the caps to a couple of vials in his belt, that he left hanging by a thread, and the water drops started orbiting him, like moons on a planet. He liked the feeling.
It was the end of another long day. Sparring, running, climbing, practicing control of Earth... But now, he was satisfied with his days accomplishments. Kekur sat down at the cliffs edge and closed his eyes, meditating. Time passed...minutes, hours, it does not matter when one is meditating. Kekur felt his being dissolve. A wind blew through the chasm. A mole was tunneling somewhere below. Footsteps just behind him. Heavy, booted footsteps. The footsteps of a Scillisk. Without opening his eyes, Kekur addressed him. "I do not know why you have come, but I wish to fight you. Leave now, and we can both go about our business in peace." "Sorry bub, but that ain't happenin'. I got a quota, and you'll fetch a hefty price at the market." In one swift movement, the bandit grabbed him by the collar and, swinging him over his shoulder, pummeled him into the ground. "So be it." A quick backflip and he was on his feet, facing his opponent. [yeah, it's not well written. Sue me.]
"W-w-what are y-y-you t-t-t-talking about?" Caput stammered nervously. He was a large man and he his forehead and upper lip were starting to sweat. "I'm sure i have nothing to do with this..." He said as he wiped his forehead with a handkerchief with one hand and reached into his desk with the other. "How about this then?" Ignatius said as he opened the packet and pulled out a picture, showing it to the companies head. "This is you right?" He said with a smile as he pointed to a man who was clearly Mr. Caput posing with a number of scientists in front of a kind of warhead. Caput's face squirmed, contorted, and grew bright red at the sight of the photo. This man new to much. "Y-y-you! Die!" Caput yelled in a fit of rage as he pulled a small pistol out of his desk and fired... But nothing happened... He heard the sound, and he knew the gun was always loaded. He didn't understand. He pulled the trigger again and again. The gun definitely fired, he heard the small explosion in the gun chamber. It's just that nothing came out... Ignatius Ignis knew why though. All he had to do was keep the fiery explosion from progressing and launching the bullet. "Dam* it!" the large man yelled as he looked down the barrel of the gun. Only to find the same bullet he was looking for lodged in his head, for Ignatius Ignis, Count Exuro, had released the the fire in the gun and allowed it to fire. "What a pity, It seems that poor Mr. Caput has killed himself. What ever shall I do?" Ignatius said, mocking the mans death. "Might as well get what I came for." He said as he got up and walked over to the safe that sat in the corner of the room. He proceeded to take out a shotgun and blow the lock clean off of the safe. "Sometimes i just love soundproof glass" he joked to himself as he pulled out a stack of banknotes and a stack of papers which he knew had to be nothing other than the company's more... unsavory records. "A funeral present for you Mr. Caput." Ignatius said as he pulled a black box from his pocket and placed it on the dead man's desk. "Security," he said as he spoke into the man's intercom, "due to extremely unfortunate circumstances Mr. Caput has just committed suicide. Please come up here immediately." Ignatius then walked outside only to see one of the company's security guards running up to him. "Hey! What happened in there?" The guard questioned. "Annoying" was Ignatius's only reply as he pulled out an unusual shotgun and blew the man's head right off with a blast of fire. He proceeded to walk to the elevator which he had come from and left the building just as a stylish, expensive, black car drove up to the building. "A job well done as always Sire." Vasallus said as Ignatius got into the car. "Why thank you Vasallus" Ignatius said as the building he had been in only a minute before exploded into a mass of flames. " A job well done in deed." Ignatius said as they pulled out into the street where an armored truck was racing rapidly down the street.
The man shot, but Deathblade had quickly dodged the bullet, and a sword now gutted the man in the chest, "my friend, you don't try to kill the angel of death." He twisted the blade and the man fell in a pool of blood, a soul slowly rising, which was immediately grasped and thrown into a portal. He heard a rather large explosion from outside, he figured his friend had already done his job, now he had to finish his, but first, he got out an earpiece and placed it in his ear, "Ignatius, I must say, perfect timing on the fireworks, the police should have that place taken care of shortly," he talked as he stabbed his blade into the door leading to the driver's seat, "I've still got some work to do old friend, I'll be in your car shortly." Using the darkness he ripped the door open and shot the man in the head with his .357, collecting the soul he immediately dissappeared into the shadows and seated himself in his friend's car. "Went with the limo I see," he got out a glass and poured some of the available whiskey.
Asher soared high in the sky, dipping around various wind currents too powerful for him to mold. Then he saw them, a line of tanks and warriors heading to a small village nestled in the hills. They were innocent people, they had their right to live. "Attention passengers of cloud flight 0983, please hold onto your personal belongings and grab a barf bag because you're about to experience sky diving without a parachute, enjoy!" Asher said to himself maniacally before the the cloud suddenly dropped, Asher falling at lightning quick speeds. He angled his body perfectly, falling and then curving his body. He rushed across the line of hover tanks through their midpoint, perpendicular to their path. A tank fell over, exploding as several of the raiders were blown down a hill. "Hello!" Asher called, riding off swiftly to the head of the line, trying to reach the village before the raiders re-group and give commands to attack the village.
Alan heard a explosion on the other side of the hill he was walking on. Maybe his brother wasn't out to annoy him. He ran upwards, trying to watch the cloud's tail and see where it had gone. A... straight dive into the floor? That didn't seem very smart, until he got to the top of the hill and saw a small army of tanks and soldiers. Great, just the way he wanted to spend the afternoon. At least going downhill would be easy. He let himself go and ran as quickly as he could to intercept the raiders before they could get to town. He willed his orbiting drops of waters to accelerate, hoping some of them could at hurt the soldiers. Unlikely, from this distance, but it was worth a try. The droplets soared through the air, and after a few seconds they dropped from the sky, hitting a soldier four times on his neck, ripping it apart. It was wonderful how little drops of water could get so much mass simply by going fast. Physics was the best subject he had ever taken.
